Glen Kitteringham

Glen Kitteringham (M.Sc., CPP, CPOI, CSSM, CPO) has been working in the security industry since 1990 in loss prevention management, insurance fraud investigations, site supervising, and managing and directing security and life safety. Glen has been consulting since 2004 for clients in the agriculture, education, energy, financial services, government, health care, property management, and technology fields. He teaches an array of online courses with the University of Calgary and the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

Glen has taught on several continents for the International Foundation for Protection Officers. He is also a Certified Protection Professional instructor, and has created and delivered material to over 200 students since 2004. Glen has actively managed more than 8 million square feet of A and AA property with over 100 security staff, and has authored or co-authored over 150 articles, books, and papers on security and life safety. Other expertise includes employee mentoring, workplace violence prevention, physical security, risk assessments, security awareness, CPTED, personnel security, crisis management, and life safety planning.
